Ocean literacy is an understanding of the ocean’s influence on you and your influence on the ocean. Strawberry Isle Marine Research Society’s goal is to increase ocean literacy in children & youth through place-based education and hands-on learning to help create meaningful connections to the ocean and marine life within it.
